  1. Great set if you're just starting out in the world of HDTV.
Hook-ups are a snap; I had my set up and running in 5 minutes, and I had no idea, when I began, what all those connections in the back were for.
Adjustments are a little difficult to read on screen, since the menu type is so small, but once you can read the menus they are a cinch to maneuver.
Color is phenomenal! Even at a distance, there is no noticeable fading, and the picture angles are broad, about 170-degrees, side-to-side. If there is a problem with fading color or picture, the screen tilts up and down, and it also pivots side-to-side, which should solve any problem with viewing the full picture.
This LCD monitor can also be hooked up to a computer, so my living room has just become a more comfortable and functional space.
This is a great value for the money, from a great name in electronics. Will definitely recommend this to all my friends.
Pro : Image angles are excellent, sound is superb, features are abundant.
Con : Menus are too small and manual is vague on some points.

  2. If you want to renew your game console, this could be the best alternative for playing 5th generation video games like Play Station 3 or XBox-360. I haven't found a better image quality like the BRAVIA category, It's like having a plasma tv, but much more less expensive. It's Sony's smallest Size BRAVIA series, but i find it great if you don't have enough space in your room and want to watch movies, and play games.
Pro : Real HDTV resolution 1366 x 768, Image Quality
    Con : A little expensive

  3. Some of my observations are: From 9 feet, it is difficult to read the menu windows and the channel number on the screen is also a bit too small. While the unit has excellent styling and eye appeal, the picture color fades off as you physically move away from the center line of the screen. I found this occurs just a few degrees from the center and drops off signifcantly at 30 degrees. The best color is right at the center. This must be an LCD function and during a fast camera pan, the picture is just a blurr. Being our first LCD this took some getting used to while the 16:9 aspect ratio also took awhile since I was adjusted to the 4:3 ratio of our old JVC. This leads to a "squashed" affect of scenes with people in them. Also, when you select "normal" width (i.e. 4:3 ratio), the program you are watching "decides" what screen width will remain in play and switches automatically to that screen ratio. That can be a bit annoying. However,I believe this TV is a great value, overall.
Pro : EASY SET-UP, GOOD PICTURE AND COLOR RENDITION. NEGLIGIBLE REFLECTION FROM ROOM LIGHTING
Con : MENU SCREEN TOO SMALL. SEACHING MENU WITH REMOTE IS TOO TIME CONSUMING AND THE VIEWING ANGLE IS VERY LIMITED.
